Why is it so bad for kids to miss breakfast?

Eating breakfast is important as it helps kids to keep focused, to concentrate, to develop a healthy relationship with food and will see our children more able to manage their activities until lunch.
Skipping meals is unhealthy for all of us. If it begins in childhood it may well continue into adulthood. As responsible parents we need to set a good example here too. I meet many children and adults with disordered eating and full blown eating disorders. Most of the children I have worked with, who have food and body issues seem to have learned much of this behaviour. We have an opportunity to support our children well with this so let's all eat our brekkie and preferably together.
its not just bad.... its a terrible thing to do... the kid feels weak and drained out in school or wherever he or she is during the day.... it may put him in a depressed mood due to the lack of energy etc.....
moreover the habit of skipping meals would result in a weak body and weaker kids are usually subject to bullying .... to interest your children in eating breakfast and getting a healthier body image you should read Food, Dieting and Body Image here.
